At 4:01 a.m. on June 13, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dawn Vanderhoff (32) of Ruthven, Ia. on two valid Palo Alto County Arrest warrants. The two arrest warrants were for original charges of Forgery = Class D felony which carried a $3,000 bond, and Forgery = Class D felony which carried a $10,000 bond. Vanderhoff was taken into custody and was held in the Palo Alto County jail.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office also arrested Nathaniel Meffered (33) of Ruthven, Ia. whom was with Vanderhoff. Meffered had three warrants for his arrest which included unauthorized use of a credit card = an aggravated misdemeanor, which carried a $6,500 bond, Forgery = Class D felony, which carried a $3,000 bond, Forgery = Class D felony, which carried a $10,000 bond. Meffered was taken into custody and held in the Palo Alto County Jail.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
