Warrant Arrest

On 08/18/2016 at 2:50 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Christopher Bailey, 35, of Schaller on two valid Palo Alto County warrants and a valid Palo Alto County mittimus. The first warrant was for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense. The bond was $2,000.00 cash/ surety. The second warrant was for Contempt of Court on a Failure to Appear on the original charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Drug, and Driving while Suspended. The bond was $500.00 cash only. The mittimus required Bailey to serve 20 hours and 24 minutes on an original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense. Bailey was subsequently booked into the Palo Alto County Jail to serve his mittimus and await his initial appearance before the judge.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
