On 7/29/2021, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was informed of a violation of a no-contact/protective order. After an investigation the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nathan Christopher Ehrig(40), of Emmetsburg, on a violation of a valid no-contact/protective order. Ehrig was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident, where he awaits his initial appearance before a judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
