On November 24, 2020, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Travis William Roberts (33) of Dakota City, on 3 valid Palo Alto County Arrest Warrants. The arrest warrants were issued for pre-trial release violations stemming from and investigation into burglaries and theft of a motor vehicle. Pre-trial release violations include Dominion/Control of a Firearm by a Domestic Abuse Offender, Theft 1st Degree, Theft 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Ongoing Criminal Conduct, 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief, and 3rd Degree Burglary. Following his arrest, Roberts was placed in the Palo Alto County Jail to await his initial appearance before a judge.
