On December 31, 2019 at 4:40 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Justin Rierson (41) of Algona, IA. on a warrant for probation violation, an aggravated misdemeanor. Rierson was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail where he was able to post the $2,000 cash or surety bond. Rierson was released from the Palo Alto County Jail and given a court date to appear in front of a judge.
Assisting the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest was the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
