On 10/31/2019 at 11:10 P.M. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 4300 block of 360th St., Emmetsburg for failure to dim bright headlights. As a result of the traffic stop a passenger in the vehicle, Laura Lazo (29) of Emmetsburg, was found to be wanted on two warrants. One through Wright County for failure to appear, and one through Palo Alto County for theft 5th degree. Laura was placed under arrest and transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident. She was served with the warrants and jailed on a total bond of $1350.00 cash or surety, to await her appearance before a Judge.
The driver of the vehicle was issued a warning citation for the traffic violation.
