On 01/15/2019 at 2:45 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jessica Joy Altenburg, 39, of Emmetsburg on a valid Plymouth County Warrant. The warrant was for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance an aggravated misdemeanor. Altenburg was able to post the $2,000.00 cash/ surety and was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
