At 1:40 a.m. on November 1, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Hoferman (20) of Estherville, IA. on a valid Palo Alto County Warrant for violation of probation. Hoferman was unable to post the $1,500 cash only bond and was held in the Palo Alto County Jail until his appearance in front of a judge. Assisting the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office with the arrest was the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
