At 8:00 p.m. on October 27, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dawson Walker, (20) of Spencer, IA. on a valid Palo Alto County Warrant. The warrant for Walker’s arrest was for an original charge of theft in the 4th degree, a serious misdemeanor. Walker was unable to post the $1,500 cash bond. Walker was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail where he was held until an initial appearance in front of a judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
