At 11:05 p.m. on October 8, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested John Wesley Marcum Jr. (34) of Graettinger on a valid arrest warrant for unlawful use or explode any firework in the corporate limits of the City of Graettinger. The warrant was issued for Marcum’s arrest stemming from an incident that occurred in Graettinger on December 30, 2017. Marcum was transported to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office where he was released after posting a $500 bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
