On Monday, June 18, 2018 at 1:27 a.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office served two valid Palo Alto County Arrest Warrants on Joseph Weber (22) of Welcome, MN for the original charge of OWI 1st Offense, a serious misdemeanor, and Possession of Alcohol Under the Legal Age, a simple misdemeanor. Weber was unable to secure the $2000 cash or surety bond or the $500 cash-only bond and subsequently transported from Emmet County Authorities to the Palo Alto County Jail where he was booked and is currently awaiting his initial appearance before a magistrate.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
