On Sunday, May 06, 2018 at 4:53 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office served Brandon Weiland (27) of Spencer, Ia with two valid Buena Vista County Arrest Warrants. One arrest warrant for 1ST Degree Harrassment – an aggravated misdemeanor, and a second arrest warrant for 3rd Degree Harrassment, a simple misdemeanor. Weiland was able to post the $2300 cash or surety bond and was subsequently released with a court date.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
