On 1/13/2018 at 12:43 a.m. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Joshua Lemoine Hoferman, age 20 of Estherville. Hoferman’s warrant was for Contempt of Court/Probation Violation. Hoferman was unable to post the $500.00 cash only bond and booked into the Palo Alto County Jail until his initial appearance before a magistrate judge. Hoferman was transferred to the custody of the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office by the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
