On Tuesday, 9-19-2017, at 3:09 P.M. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Douglas E. Weir (47) of Ruthven, Ia on a valid Palo Alto County Warrant for the charge of Harassment – 3rd degree. Weir was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident where he was able to post the $500 cash only bond and released with a court date.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
