On February 17, 2019 at 6:33 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to the intersection of Cedar Street and Robins Street in Graettinger for a two vehicle car accident. Upon investigation the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined Tiffany Manwarren (36) of Graettinger was traveling south on Cedar Street in a 2016 KIA. Manwarren stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Robins Street and proceeded into the intersection and struck an eastbound 2015 Ford Fusion being operated by Blake Miller (18) of Graettinger.
Damage to the Manwaren vehicle was estimated at $3,000. Damage to the Miller vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Miller and a passenger complained of possible pain or injury but declined medical treatment. No other injuries were reported at the scene. Manwarren was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way from a stopsign, a simple misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
