On Febuary 12, 2018 the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a semi/pickup accident at the intersection of 420Ave & 360St.
A 2001 Freightliner Semi driven by William J. Neuman of Elroy, WI was stopped at a stop sign at 420 Ave & 360 St. and was waiting to make a left turn onto 360 St. Newman noticed a non contact semi headed east on 360 St. and was signaling to make a left turn on 420 Ave. Neuman backed up to give the semi more room to turn and collided with a 2016 Chevy pickup driven Tad S. Hepner, who was sitting behind him waiting to turn.
The Chevy pickup damage was estimated at $600 and damge to the Benson semi trailer was estimated at $100.00
No injuries were reported at scene.
