On April 8, 2016, at 5:05 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a call to 609 South Cedar Avenue, in Graettinger in reference to a vehicle accident causing property damage. Following an investigation into the accident, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that Tyler Dalen, 22, of Graettinger, was backing his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado out of the driveway at 609 South Cedar Avenue and struck an unoccupied 2013 Ford Fusion, owned by David Chapman (46), which was parked in the driveway at the same address. There is an estimated $1,500 damage to Dalen’s vehicle and an estimated $1,500 damage to Chapman’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the accident.
