On 8-1-2018 at 9:15 A.M., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office delivered 19 year old Garret J Wassom, Spencer, Iowa, to the custody of the Iowa Medical Classification Facility. Wassom received a prison term not to exceed 10 years for Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon and a term not to exceed 5 years for Going Armed With Intent. The prison terms were handed down after Wassom’s probation was revoked for leaving the Regional Training Facility in Sioux City without court approval.
