On 11-21-16 at approximately 1:32 P.M., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a vehicle that was on it’s top in the 4800 block of 360th street. Upon an investigation it was determined that Eli Arther Mosley, (16) of Emmetsburg, was driving a red 1996 Chevy Blazer east in the 4800 block of 360th street in an erratic manner. As Mosley continued east on 360th street he subsequently lost control of his vehicle. As the vehicle fishtailed out of control the passenger side tires entered the south ditch and Mosely attempted to correct the vehicle from going into the ditch. As Mosley overcorrected, the vehicle started to roll and subsequently came to rest on it’s top in the middle of the roadway.
No injuries were reported at the scene and the vehicle was deemed a total loss. Mosley was issued citations for Failure to Have a Valid Driver’s License, Failure to Maintain Control, and Failure to Prove Security Against a Liability.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
