On Thursday, August 29th, 2019, at 3:39 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a roll over motor vehicle accident in the 3900 block of 430th Avenue. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that a juvenile female was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger pickup southbound in the 3900 block of 430th Avenue and lost control of the pickup, which caused it to sway back and forth between the roadway and the west shoulder. The pickup slid sideways into the east ditch, rolling once, coming to rest on its passenger side. The juvenile driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
There is an estimated $1,600.00 damage done to the Ford Ranger. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office cited the juvenile driver for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, which is a simple misdemeanor.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
