On April 7, 2019 at 3:57 a.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Department observed a male subject walking in the 2000 Block of 11th Street in Emmetsburg. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office identified the male subject to be Daniel Brodie (48) of Emmetsburg, IA. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office learned Brodie had a warrant for his arrest out of Kossuth County stemming from a prior operating while intoxicated charge. During the warrant execution, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined Brodie was intoxicated and placed him under arrest for public intoxication 3rd offense, an aggravated misdemeanor. Brodie was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail on the public intoxication charge.
