On Sunday, December 29, 2019, at 04:12 am, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint reference to an intoxicated male knocking on a residential door in the 300 block of East Robbins Avenue, Graettinger. Following an investigation into the complaint, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Caleb Gunderson (21) of Norwalk, Iowa. Gunderson was charged with public intoxication, which is a simple misdemeanor. Gunderson was transported, without incident, to the Palo Alto County Jail and booked in to await his initial appearance before a magistrate.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
