On 08/08/2020 at 9:57 P.M. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 3400 block of 360th St., Ruthven, Iowa. As a result of the stop and subsequent investigation, Casey Metz (27) of Emmetsburg was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance marijuana 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
