On October 11, 2020, at 5:25 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of 380th Avenue after a Deputy observed a traffic violation. As a result of the traffic stop, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Luis Carrasco-Galindo (44) of Peoria, IL, for operating while intoxicated 2nd offence, an aggravated misdemeanor, careless driving, a simple misdemeanor, and open container – driver, a simple misdemeanor. Carrasco-Galindo was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail where he awaits an initial appearance in front of a judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
