On 8/11/2018 at 5:50 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of 340th Street. As a result of the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Travis Vernon Ferguson, age 45 of Terril, on the charges of Operating While Intoxicated (1st Offense/Serious Misdemeanor) and Open Container (simple misdemeanor). Ferguson was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail and held until his initial appearance before a magistrate judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
