On 3/29/2018 at 8:49 p.m. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert J. Halverson Jr., age 52 of Omaha, NE, on the charges of Operating While Intoxicated/Impaired (Drugged)-1st Offense. Halverson’s charge stems from an investigation into a traffic stop which occurred in the 3600 block of 440th Avenue on February 27th, 2018. Halverson was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail on the serious misdemeanor charge and held until his initial appearance before a judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
