On 3/10/2018 at 11:07 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of 525th Avenue. As a result of the investigation into the traffic stop, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brandon Cole Johnson, age 26 of Laurens, on the charges of Operating While Intoxicated-1st Offense (serious misdemeanor), speeding and open container. Johnson was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident. Johnson was booked into the Palo Alto County Jail and held until his initial appearance before a judge.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
