On 02/04/2020 at 2:21 P.M. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of 360th St. Upon completion of an investigation the driver of the vehicle, Devin Larue (19) of Spencer, Iowa was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a control substance-marijuana 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating while intoxicated 1ST offense, and speeding. Devin was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident and jailed to await his initial appearance before a judge. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Emmetsburg Police Department, and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
