At 7:00 p.m. on May 30, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Lawrence Charles Ruotolo SR. (48) of Emmetsburg. Ruotolo was charged with 13 counts of violation of a no contact/protective order, all simple misdemeanors. Ruotolo was served the warrant in the Palo Alto County Jail where he was held on the charges without bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
