At 5:17 p.m. on May 25, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office served an arrest warrant on Lawrence Charles Ruotolo SR. (48) of Emmetsburg. Ruotolo was charged with eight counts of violation of a no contact/protective order, all simple misdemeanors. Ruotolo was held in the Palo Alto County Jail on a $1,000 cash only bond.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
