On Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 5:00 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a violation of a protective order at the City Pool in Graettinger. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew McGrauth (22), of Graettinger for violation of a protective order, simple misdemeanor. McGrauth was transported, without incident, to the Palo Alto County Jail and booked in to await his initial appearance before a magistrate. This incident is still under investigation and further charges are expected with other involved parties.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
