On Sunday, March 14, 2021, at 1:50 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ariah Sanculi (19) of Emmetsburg on a valid Dickinson County warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on original charges of possession of controlled substance – marijuana 2nd offense = aggravated misdemeanor and also theft 5th degree = simple misdemeanor. Bond was set in the amount of $1,300.00 cash or surety. Sanculi was transported, without incident, to Dickinson County and turned over to the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
