On Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 2:44 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 4100 block of 360th Street on a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500, driven by Patrick Johnson (52) of Curlew. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Johnson was operating the vehicle with a barred driver’s license, which is an aggravated misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested for driving while barred and transported to the Palo Alto County Jail without incident. Johnson was also issued citations for operating a non registered vehicle and failure to provide of financial liability, which are both simple misdemeanors.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
