On 12/09/2015 at 11:17 a.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigation a dog bite that had occurred in Graettinger. Two Boston Terrier dogs, owned by Christopher Allen Gerstbrein, got out of a fenced in area in the back yard and began to run at large and while doing so entered the yard at 405 N. Cameron Ave. and bit the female homeowner in the leg. Gerstbrein was cited for Dog at Large under the Graettinger City Code and released on a promise to appear in court at a later date. Gerstbrein was also served a Disposition of Dangerous Animal under Graettinger City Code ordering the removal of the dogs from the city limits.
