On Wednesday, March 01, 2017, at 5:44 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint reference to a group of individuals being threatened by a male subject at the city park in Mallard. During the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Noah Weaver (28), of New York, in the 4900 block of 460th Avenue. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office arrested Weaver and charged him with disorderly conduct and interference with official acts, both simple misdemeanors. Weaver was transported to the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office and placed in jail to await his initial appearance before a magistrate. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the complaint by the Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
