At 7:02 p.m. on March 2, 2018, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car versus deer accident in the 3700 Block of 525th Avenue. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office discovered Ashlyn Cole (20) was southbound on 525th Avenue when a deer emerged from the west ditch and stuck the front passenger’s side of her vehicle. Cole was not injured in the accident and her 2008 Mazda received an estimated $5000 in damage.
