On February 15, 2018, at 2:55 a.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to the parking lot of Sparky’s One Stop in Mallard, Ia for a report of a car vs. deer accident. Upon investigation, it was determined that Kimberly Brady (50) of Rolfe, Ia was driving her 1993 GMC Sierra southbound in the 4400 block of 460th Ave. when a deer exited the east ditch and entered the roadway. The Brady vehicle collided with the deer causing an estimated $1500 damage to the vehicle. Brady was not injured during the collision.
