On 11/09/17 at 7:30 A.M. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a vehicle that struck a deer at the intersection of 370th Street and 430th Avenue. Robert Joseph Soenen of Emmetsburg was driving his 2005 Ford truck east in the 4200 block of 370th Street. As Soenen approached the intersection a deer ran onto the roadway and the Soenen struck the deer. Damage to the Soenen vehicle was estimated at $2500.00.
