On 6-13-2017 at 7:20pm, The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a vehicle vs. deer collision that occurred in the 4900 block of 370th Street. Upon an investigation, it was discovered a 2012 Toyota Camry owned and driven by Jaqueline MacDonald of Fort Dodge, IA was eastbound in the 4900 block of 370th Street. A deer emerged from the north ditch, crossing south onto the travel portion of the roadway. The MacDonald vehicle made contact with the deer causing an estimated $6000.00 worth of damage. There were no reports of injuries at the scene as a result of the collision.
