Car Deer Accident

On 9/11/2016 at 8:13 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 emergency call of a car deer collision that occurred in the 3200 block of 480th Avenue. A 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, owned and operated by Larry Allan Osborn, age 60 of Swea City, was traveling north in the 3200 block of 480th Avenue. A deer emerged from the east ditch and entered the roadway. The Osborn vehicle made contact with the deer. Damage to the Osborn vehicle was estimated at $3000.00. There were minor injuries as a result of the accident but did not require any medical attention at the scene of the accident.
