On Tuesday May 17, 2016 at 4:30pm the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a Car vs. Deer accident that occurred in the 3700 block of 525th Ave, north of Cylinder, IA. Joseph Dwight Hilton (31) of Emmetsburg, IA was northbound when he struck a deer that had entered the road. Hilton was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $1,800.
