On March 18, 2016 the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office covered a car deer accident north of Cylinder, IA. Jessica May Long (27) of Ruthven, IA was southbound in the 3600 block of 530th Ave when a deer entered the path of the 2005 Kia Sedona . Long was unable to avoid the deer and collided with it. The Sedona sustained an estimated $1500 damage to the front end. No injuries were reported.
