On 12/20/2015 at 8:25 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a car deer accident that occurred in the 5200 block of 370th Street. A gold 2011 Chrysler Town & Country van, owned and driven by 62 yr. old Roger Schipull of Hardy, IA, was traveling east on 370th when a deer emerged from the south ditch and onto the roadway where the Schipull vehicle made contact with it. The Schipull vehicle sustained an estimated $2500.00 in damages.
There were no injuries as a result of the accident.
