On Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 9:25 PM, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a Life 360 crash alarm in the 4800 block of 380th Avenue. Tyler Dayton of Pocahontas, was driving a 2000 Buick LeSabre southbound on 380th Avenue, when a deer emerged in the roadway. Dayton’s vehicle collided with the deer, causing an estimated $3,000 in damage. No injuries were reported.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
