On Sunday, July 5, 2020, at 10:50 pm, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car/deer accident in the 3600 block of 430th Street. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that Emily Hudson (23) of West Des Moines was driving a 2014 Nissan Maxima eastbound in the 3600 block of 430th Street. A deer entered the roadway from the south ditch and was struck by Hudson’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the accident. There is an estimated $3,000.00 damage to Hudson’s vehicle.
