On 06/30/2020 at 10: 15 p.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a car/ deer accident in the 3500 block of 450th Avenue. Upon investigation it was determined that a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, owned by Teresa Murphy of Emmetsburg, and driven by Hunter Murphy of Emmetsburg, was north bound on 450th Ave when a deer emerged from the ditch and collided with the Jeep. The Jeep sustained front end damage estimated at $1500.00. There were no reported injuries as a result of the accident.
