On 01/06/2020 the Palo Alto Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a car deer accident that occurred in the 3800 block of 460th Ave. A 2006 Dodge Caravan, owned and operated by Christopher Mammen of Emmetsburg, was south bound on 460th Ave when two deer emerged from east ditch, entered the roadway and collided with Christopher’s vehicle. There was an estimated $1500.00 worth of damage to Christopher’s vehicle, and no injuries were reported.
