On November 9, 2019, at 5:51 p.m. the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car deer accident in the 3400 Block of 360th Street near Ruthven, IA. It was determined a 2019 Nissan Rouge, owned and operated by Gregory Miller (52) of Spencer, IA. was westbound on 360th Street when a deer emerged in the roadway. Miller struck the deer which caused an estimated $5,000 in damage. No injuries were reported at the scene.
