On Wednesday, October 30th, 2019, at 07:17 am, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office investigated a car/deer accident in the 3300 block of 480th Avenue. Following the investigation, the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined that Hailey Ferguson (19) of Pocahontas was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala southbound in the 3300 block of 480th Avenue. A deer entered the roadway from the west ditch and was struck by Ferguson’s vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the accident. Ferguson’s vehicle sustained an estimated $2,000.00 in damages.
