On October 23, 2019 at 4:44 a.m., the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a car deer accident in the 4200 Block of 510th Avenue. The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office determined a 2016 Subaru WRX, being operated by Anthony Lee (24) of Portage, IN., was northbound on 510th Avenue when two deer emerged in the roadway. Lee swerved to miss one of the deer and struck the second deer in the roadway. Lee’s vehicle then entered the east ditch. Damage to the Subaru was estimated at $2,000. No injuries were reported at the scene.
